Adidas Predator Mania: the power of the kangaroo.
Soccer is a game that brings out the beast in people. Adidas have managed to harness that power in their Adidas Predator Mania soccer cleats. Made from thin, pliable kangaroo leather, they are apparently the only shoes that my son needs to become the greatest soccer player in the world. No exaggerating. Of course, being English, soccer is THE game. No, ifs, ands, or buts. Lets just say he has a bad case of Adidas Predator Mania. I can see about a years worth of car washes that I am about to get roped into paying him for. Let’s hope he puts as much energy into that as he has into nagging for the kangaroo shoes.
Adidas Predator Mania: is there a cure?
Hmm. Let me get back to you on that one.
Adidas Predator Mania: My son’s opinion.
"But mum, they are in fact the best shoes. Everyone has them. I need them to play my best. It’s not really a purchase. It’s more like an investment in my future career.
"If I wanted to be a car mechanic you’d buy the best tools right? Well Adidas Predator Mania is my tool for my job. Right now I am serving my apprenticeship in the B Team, but with the new Adidas Predator Mania shoes, I can play much better and maybe even make it into the A Team. Think how proud you’d be of me then.
"No, really. I will wash your car for a year, or do dishes for 6 months, whatever you want. No, I do need the Adidas Predator Mania cleats up front and yes I will stick to my contract. No, it’s not at all like the Iguana Habitat I wanted. Adidas Predator Mania shoes are going to pay for themselves eventually when I play for Manchester United, and then England, when I get scouted."

Okay, I can’t help it. Note to self: add to shopping list ‘Adidas Predator Mania soccer shoes, size 12’. On the lighter side, I have the cleanest car in the neighbourhood. Remind me not to buy them for at least a week. We all know the car will be dirty after then, don’t we.
