The Best Baseball Computer Game of all time? While watching a baseball game, we’ve all dreamed about really playing professionally. Of course, it will probably remain just that--a dream. This is where baseball computer games come in. They allow you to live out the fantasy of playing in the major leagues in the comfort of your home. There are plenty of games out there, so let’s take a look at a few and find out which is the best baseball computer game.

Best Baseball Computer Game #1- Out of the Park Baseball 6

This is, in my opinion, the best baseball computer game available. It’s the most realistic, easy-to-use, and fun baseball game I’ve played in a long time. A big reason it’s the best baseball computer game is its unparalleled customization features. You are allowed to create your own baseball world. Here are just a few features-- create players, sign free agents, trade players and rookies, participate in an amateur draft, replace aging players with young prospects, and form a multiplayer league with your friends.

The price is very reasonable ($19.99) and the download time is quick. If you’re looking for the best baseball computer game, then you should definitely get Out of the Park Baseball 6.

Best Baseball Computer Game #2- All-Star Baseball 2005

This is one of the most successful computer game series out there (and many would argue this is the best baseball computer game). The main reason for that is the incredible graphics and detailed design (the stadium and crowd detail is some of the best I’ve seen in a game). The franchise feature, which allows you to build your own team, is superb. The only drawback I could find is that the game itself is too easy (even when you program it to be difficult). I know some people might not find that to be a bad thing, but I prefer a challenge when gaming.

Best Baseball Computer Game #3- MLB 2005

This is a fun game to play, but there are some cons. The biggest I could find is the absence of players like Barry Bonds. If you play a baseball game, you want to play with the stars. The pros of MLB 2005 are great graphics, a nice broadcast view, a new interactive hot/cold zone, and good sound effects. Overall, it's good , but it could have been better. If you can’t get the top two games, this is a good alternative.
