Holidays to Egypt Travel Destinations ~
Find one that’s right for you!
If you’re looking for a great getaway for relaxation, cultural enrichment or entertainment, I’d like to tell you about two exceptional “Holidays to Egypt” travel destinations. As you’ll see, both of these exotic places are located on the beautiful waters of the Gulf of Aqaba, and each offers more than its share of exciting activities on land and sea.
Let’s take a look at these fantastic “Holidays to Egypt” destinations …
Dahab ~ For those who’d just like to relax – while diving!
Egypt is a great place to go if you just want to get away from it all and experience something new and exotic. So, what comes to your mind when you think about relaxing? Do you think of a lovely, breezy evening of dining on the Gulf of Aqaba, maybe even after a day of diving? Then why not consider a stay in Dahab?
Located on the southeastern Sinai peninsula between Sharm el Sheikh and Nuweiba, Dahab is a diver’s paradise. Can’t you just imagine diving in the warm turquoise blue waters of the Gulf of Aqaba as you inspect the beautiful coral reef that runs along the shoreline of Dahab?
And, of course, you’ll find more in Dahab than just great diving! While, for some, there’s nothing like spending a glorious day at the beach, either in or out of the water, others might prefer to keep their feet on dry sand. No matter what your preference, Dahab has something for everyone -- from all the water sports you could possibly imagine to exciting land activities like hiking through scenic terrain. All of these and much more combine to make Dahab one of our favorite “Holidays to Egypt” travel destinations.
Nuweiba ~ “The Pearl of the Gulf of Aqaba”
Our second great “Holidays to Egypt” destination is Nuweiba, another northeastern Sinai town, which is located just a few miles up the coast from Dahab. Because of its beautiful, multicolored mountains with breathtaking golden and purple hues, and some of the loveliest beaches in the world, Nuweiba is rightfully known as the “Pearl of Aqaba.”
Just like its neighbor, Dahab, to the south, Nuweiba also offers an abundance of exciting land and sea activities. Perhaps one of the most popular is the 90-minute ferry ride across the Gulf to Jordan. It’s an easy day trip from the Port of Nuweiba, and travelers are often treated to some of the most stunning sunsets imaginable.
Which great “Holidays to Egypt” travel destination is right for you?
So, if you’re looking for an opportunity to get away from your normal routine, why not spend a little time exploring one or both of these fabulous travel destinations? With opportunities for great recreation and sightseeing, you’ll receive a travel experience that’s both thrilling and relaxing. And, perhaps more importantly, you’ll come to know the people of the land whose sands are as old as time.
This year, why not make it a special “Holidays to Egypt” travel destination? You’ll be so glad you did.
Have a great trip!
