Immigration New Zealand: Route One
You may come to live in New Zealand if you fit into one of the following categories:
(1) To wish to join your New Zealand partner
(2) You are a dependent child and want to come and join your New Zealand parent
(3) You want to come and join your New Zealand child
(4) You want to come and join your brother, sister or adult child
Immigration New Zealand: Route Two
If you’re not fortunate enough to have a close relative who is a New Zealand citizen, you’ll want to investigate an alternative way to make your Immigration, New Zealand project a reality. One such way is the skilled migrant program. The New Zealand government is looking for people who will help the country achieve sustainable growth and contribute to an innovative workforce. Immigration New Zealand, the government department that oversees immigration, have identified certain employment opportunities that are necessary for it’s growth as a nation.
To be able to qualify as a skilled migrant you’ll have to satisfy certain requirements as set by Immigration New Zealand. Basically, Immigration New Zealand needs to be satisfied that you are healthy, are of good moral character and meet a minimum proficiency level regarding the English language.
If you qualify on the above grounds you will then be invited to enter an expression of interest. This will detail your experience, work history and education level. Immigration New Zealand will allocate points on the basis of these criteria. Those who meet a certain points level will be invited to apply.
It should be noted, however, that Immigration New Zealand have set a maximum age for application under the skilled migrant program of 55.
Immigration New Zealand: Route Three
If you have an exceptional talent in sports, the arts or you are a highly specialized worker in an in demand field, you can apply for a work permit under the Immigration New Zealand Work to Residence program. This program allows you to work temporarily in New Zealand as a first step towards gaining permanent residence.
Project Immigration, New Zealand is an achievable goal for you. New Zealand does, in fact, have some of the most amenable immigration policies in all of the Western world.
