Show You Care with a Personalized Christmas Ornament

The older we get, the harder it seems to be to find the perfect Christmas gift for the people that mean the most to us. Once you get past the age where just plain old ‘stuff’ is not okay, how do you tell someone they are important and you care? If you are looking for a simple way to say “I love you,” try a personalized Christmas ornament.

Personalized Christmas Ornaments provide instant sentimentality and a lasting memory for both the person who gives and the one who receives. How do you choose a Personalized Christmas Ornament? There are several events and occasions throughout the year that are worth remembering, such as:

  • A New Baby
  • A New House
  • A Wedding
  • An Engagement
  • A Graduation
  • A Grandchild
  • The death of a loved one
  • A New Job

However, in the event that none of these things have happened in the life of the person for whom you would like to buy a personalized Christmas ornament, there are still many other events and occasions you can celebrate.

Did the person you are buying the personalized Christmas ornament for go on a special vacation during the year? My family went to Costa Rica over Thanksgiving two years ago; a perfect personalized Christmas ornament from that trip would be a seashell or something of that sort. Or, did your loved one pick up a new hobby or start a collection? Do they play an instrument or sing? These days, you can find an ornament to symbolize almost anything! Be creative with your personalized Christmas ornament; let your personality and the personality of the person for whom you are buying it shine through!

Once you have found the perfect ornament, how do you transform it into a personalized Christmas ornament? Several places, not only offer ornaments for sale that they will engrave, but they also will engrave certain ornaments not purchased at their stores. If it is something that cannot be engraved, such as the seashell in the above paragraph, consider purchasing a calligraphy pen or thin point permanent marker. On the back side of the ornament, write the person’s name, the year it was given, and from whom. You should not need to write “why” it was given; that is the beauty of a personalized Christmas ornament.

The most precious part of giving a personalized Christmas ornament is that it is guaranteed to bring back memories of a special moment for the rest of the person’s life. No matter how long two people have been together, there is nothing as precious as a Personalized ornament that says the name of the people and, ‘Our First Christmas’ with the date. And, as those personalized ornaments are placed on the tree, your friends, family, and loved ones will remember that it was you that gave it to them.

The fact that you put the thought and effort into finding a perfect personalized Christmas ornament shows that you care deeply for the person and that your relationship means something special. In this day and age of disposable gifts and an overabundance of just plain ‘stuff’ in our lives, something as simple and precious as a personalized Christmas present will mean more than you could ever know.
