If you want to get out and have some fun and you happen to be in the Northeastern United States, there are plenty of places to go in Connecticut. Limousine services are plentiful and can help you get to your destination easily and in comfort. Traveling by limousine is a special way to go and can make any experience unforgettable.

At the top of the list for many people are the two Native American Casinos in Connecticut. Limousine services can take you to the Foxwoods casino in Ledyard, Connecticut or the Mohegan Sun casino in Uncasville, Connecticut. Both are located in the southeastern portion of the state less than ten miles apart. It’s an easy ride from Hartford, Providence, New York City, or Boston. They are two of the largest casinos in the world and well worth the trip just to appreciate their architecture.

If gambling is not for you there are plenty of other opportunities for fun in Connecticut. Limousine services can bring you to a night out at the famous Schubert Theater in New Haven, Connecticut. In the past, the casts of Broadway shows would play at the Schubert to “work out the bugs” in their performances before hitting the Great White Way.

Mystic Seaport in beautiful Mystic, Connecticut hosts over a million visitors from around the globe each year. It’s a private not-for-profit educational institution that features sailing vessels outfitted as they were hundreds of years ago which visitors board and explore. In that sense Mystic Seaport is a “living” museum and is one of the treasures of Connecticut. Limousine services can take you there.

Nearby in Stonington, Connecticut is a terrific restaurant and bed-and-breakfast known as Randall’s Ordinary. It features 17th century open hearth cooking, so dining there is like taking a few giant steps back in time. It’s listed in the National Register of Historic Places and the Connecticut Freedom Trail.

Another nautical site to consider visiting is the replica of the Amistad at Long Wharf, in New Haven, Connecticut. Limousine services can take you there. The Amistad was the famous slave ship in which there was a revolt and takeover. The story was made into a powerful movie several years ago.

Moving considerably inland, Hartford, Connecticut is the home of Mark Twain, the famous satirist and writer. The Mark Twain House is in a remarkable state of preservation and has beautiful antique interiors. While you’re there go next door and visit the home of Harriet Beecher Stowe, another famous writer, whose home has been restored. Both homes are fine examples of Victorian sensibilities in 19th century Connecticut. Limousine services, a marvel of the twentieth century, can take you there.

From the modern day excitement of high-stakes gambling to more genteel visits to the past, there’s much to do and see in Connecticut. Limousine services can take you there.
