Listen to Free Music Online With Internet Radio

When you listen to free music online with Internet radio, there are a lot of pros. It’s legal, it’s free, and you have access to an almost unlimited, continuous variety of music from your pc. You can find dozens of directories so you can search for exactly the type of station you want.

Recent innovations in Internet radio are companies that have created options for people to listen to free music online and search for specific songs and artists they want to listen to. A lot of people are excited about this kind of Internet radio because it’s a combination of music streaming and peer-to-peer music file sharing, so you can listen to free music online of artists and titles you want in radio format. Since it’s reportedly legal, and not interactive, you don’t get songs on-demand exactly, and there are certain restrictions, such as you can’t post or request a specific time for a song to be played.

Cons when you listen to free music online via Internet radio: Depending on server load, etc, you might have occasional problems with reception. You don’t get to choose the specific song you want at the specific time you want it.

Free Music Download Trials

Many sites offer legal and legitimate music downloads, but you usually have to pay either a monthly subscription fee or pay per download, either for single songs or entire albums. Many of these sites allow you to listen to free music online for a trial period to decide whether or not you want to get a subscription.

Some companies let you listen to free music online as a try-before-you- buy type of thing by offering a variety of free full-length mp3 downloads. Some legit sites also offer free downloads of popular songs in conjunction with advertising and encouragement to buy the albums.

Pros when you listen to free music online with a trial subscription or ‘test’ options are that you get to choose songs and artist you want to listen to, usually a large variety to choose from, and some top quality sites offer these trial subscriptions. Cons: free downloads are for a limited, usually 7 to 14 days, then you have to pay for a subscription to continue. You may not always be able to download the exact song you want, depending on the site and try or trial options.

If you decide to get a subscription, be careful. Many sites warn of being wary of supposedly legal unlimited download subscriptions to listen to free music online because they might not be legit and have record labels’ and artists’ permission to use the songs, but are just an illegal file sharing networks in disguise.

Listen to Free Music Online With Other Free Music Downloads

You can also listen to free music online by visiting artists websites and downloading certain songs that have available. You can get choose the artist you want, free and legally, but song’s availability will always be limited – they want to buy the record, after all.

Another alternative to listen to free music online is to download free music from unknown or unsigned artists. Many sites are now dedicated to offering this option as a way to get the names of these artists out. There are a large variety of genres, music, and artists in this category, so it’s definitely worth checking out. You never know who is going to be the next big name in the music biz.

Peer-to-Peer File Sharing Networks

Peer to peer file-sharing networks are getting less popular, so they’re at the bottom of the list. While the pro is that you can often find the exact song you want, when you want it, there are many more cons associated when you listen to free music online with this option. It’s illegal for the most part, and you can expose your computer to a whole host of problems in the form of spyware, adware, and viruses.
