If you're looking for a NAPA auto part, you've come
to the right place.
Not that I sell them- but I can tell you exactly where
to go to get them, and how to use the crazy NAPA auto parts
website to find your auto part.
It's not all that clear cut, really- when you get to the
NAPA web site, you're confronted with
|
a big, gaping white space. That's where your vehicle is supposed
to be. See, to get the NAPA auto part for your car, you first
have to tell their website what kind of car you have.
Hmm. Maybe not- this website isn't so hot. I put my car year,
make, and model in, and sure the NAPA auto parts came up below-
replacement brakes, ignition, etc., but there's still this gaping
white space up there. That's bad web design.
But never fear- you know from going to the NAPA stores that they
can be depended upon for NAPA auto parts. The real question, I
suppose, is will you get the parts if you order them online. Well,
a gaping white space isn't enough to make me think NAPA is totally
incompetent. But I bet they fell for the sales pitch of some website
designer who told them how cool it would be to have such and such
a feature- and alas, it's cool on some computers, but on others,
it's a big gaping white space.
Anyway, if you click on the NAPA auto part you're interested
in, it'll take you to more options so you can choose exactly which
part you want. I clicked on brakes and then I had more choices,
so I chose shoes and pads. Then I got to the list of parts - you'll
see maybe 6 or 8 different NAPA auto parts to choose from. If
you're not sure, click on the name of the NAPA auto part, and
you'll get more info. You might even be lucky enough to see a
photo of your long lost auto part.
All that remains now is to put a check in the box next to your
desired NAPA auto part, and then click on 'add to cart'. Then
you can complete your purchase or save it for later.
Happy NAPA auto part shopping!
