Beverly Hills real estate: location, location, location
An independent city completely surrounded by Los Angeles, Beverly Hills’ real estate is eight miles from Downtown Los Angeles, three miles from Hollywood, and six miles from Santa Monica beaches. Attractions include the celebrity-studded Beverly Wilshire hotel, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and hundreds of palatial homes. The weather is mild, with a perfect 72 degree average temperature conducive to the lush gardens found in almost every inch of Beverly Hills real estate. The herbage, including 35,000 mature trees, is tended lovingly by an army of horticulturists, among them perhaps the last generation of Japanese gardeners in California. Beyond the natural beauty, royal shopping in the boutiques and department stores on Rodeo Drive and other famous upscale avenues make Beverly Hills real estate an ultra-premium location.
