Weight Loss Product Review

by Patrick Austin

The number of weight loss products on the market today is staggering. It seems like everywhere you look, there is a new miracle pill that will “help you shed the extra pounds”. But since the weight loss industry generates close to 25 billion dollars in sales each year, it’s obvious most of these products are pure junk. They won’t shrink your waistline, only your pocket book.

I would like to take this time to review some of the weight loss products available today…

Weight Loss Product #1-Cortislim

This is the new weight loss craze. I’m sure you’ve probably heard this ad—“Stress makes you fat, it’s not your fault!”

Cortislim is a weight loss product that is predicated on reducing cortisol, commonly called the “stress hormone”. They believe that if cortisol is reduced, your body will not store as much body fat and you will lose weight.

Unfortunately, for all of us, this product is total crap and the “science” behind it is weak, at best. The makers of Cortislim say their product is backed by 15 years of scientific research. According to the FTC investigation against Cortislim, that is completely false. You read that correctly, the makers of Cortislim are under investigation by the FTC for making false and/or unsubstantiated claims.

If you are thinking about buying Cortislim, or any “Corti” product, don’t. You will just be wasting your money. This weight loss product is pure b.s.

Weight Loss Product #2-Stacker 2: Thermo Fusion

This weight loss product was extremely successful…until the main ingredient(ephedra) was banned by the government.

Now, they are trying to make a comeback with a weight loss product called “Stacker 2: Thermo Fusion”. The same ingredients from the first Stacker 2 are in this product, sans ephedra, but they have now added Glucomannan (from Konjac root), which is supposed to 'expand in your stomach to give you a feeling of fullness'.

Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t want to take a pill that has a main ingredient, which hasn’t been approved by the FDA, capable of “expanding” in my stomach.

Weight Loss Product #3-A Realistic Weight Loss Guide

That’s right, the best weight loss product out there is a book, magazine, or nutrition guide that doesn’t sell false promises. The plain and simple truth is the only way to lose weight is to eat less calories than you use(with a diet), or to burn more calories than you eat(with exercise). A combination of both would best.

People need to realize that weight loss and gains are mathematical occurrences. So, as I said, the best weight loss product out there is a good book or magazine that provides you with reduced calorie recipe guides and exercise routines.

If you cut back on your calorie intake and exercise more, you will lose weight.

It’s that simple.
