Have you ever wondered how Jennifer Aniston keeps her figure? She must work out constantly and only eat broccoli, right? Actually, she stays lean and fit with the zone diet. Due to her affection towards this diet, some have even called it the Jennifer Aniston zone diet. Why? Because she’s one of the poster girls for this diet plan.

So what is this zone diet? It’s actually quite simple. At each meal, you get forty percent of your calories from carbohydrates, thirty percent from protein, and thirty percent from fat. This balance of foods puts your body into a hormonal balance that turns your body into a fat burner. And, you will find that you don’t have those awful hunger pangs, you’ll have more energy, and just feel better all around.

Why do people call it the Jennifer Aniston zone diet? Because she was one of the first female celebrities to talk about being on the zone diet and having such success with it. The creator of this diet is happy to have her as a spokes person.

Other celebrities have hopped onto this Jennifer Aniston zone diet bandwagon. Some of those celebrities include Sandra Bullock, Demi Moore, Sarah Jessica Parker, Rene Zellwegger, Charlie Sheen, Bill Clinton, Janet Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, and Cindy Crawford. They have all praised the zone diet for it’s emphasis on eating healthy, balanced meals.

An example of a Jennifer Aniston zone diet meal play would be something like this…

Breakfast:

Egg whites

Wheat toast with butter or jelly on top

A piece of fruit

Mid-day Snack:

Soy protein energy bar

A piece of fruit

Lunch:

A garden salad with some grilled chicken on top

Wheat pasta with tomato sauce

Mid-evening snack:

Mixed vegetables

Dinner:

Grilled chicken breast(skinless)

Steamed brown rice

Mixed vegetables with margarine

Throughout the day:

Plenty of water

Green tea

These Jennifer Aniston zone diet meals cover all aspects of nutrition. It’s all about having balance. Too much of anything is never good in the long run. Having balanced meals like these gives the body everything it needs to help perform at an optimal level throughout the day. That’s way Jennifer Aniston uses it.

In my personal opinion, I believe the Jennifer Aniston zone diet makes a lot of sense. Eating balanced meals and having the right combination of foods will give your body enough energy and nutrients to give you a lean physique.

Of course, you can’t discount exercise either. Aniston also follows a rigorous cardiovascular routine and does light weight training. To give yourself a toned look and defined abdominal muscles, you should also begin an exercise routine.
